From a young age, I’ve always had a sense of motivation and passion driving me forward. Whether it’s exploring unique opportunities, learning additional skills, or meeting new people, I bring these values to every experience throughout my life on a personal and professional level. 

 

I have a passion for learning through creativity and enjoying sharing the things I have learned with others.  I believe that what a person knows goes beyond the experience list that that they have on a resume and no matter how long or short in this ever changing world there is so much more to learn.

MY EXPERIENCE

Background & Expertise

 

Creative Strategist and Digital Technologist with over 15 years of demonstrated experience. I utilize my background in the arts along with a strong understanding of information technology to offer creative solutions in brand development, detailed project management, and optimization of overall user experience.

Some of the types of endeavors where my abilities have been used are as follows:

MARKETING AND BRANDING

  • Evaluate marketing plans, their effectiveness and develop new engagement strategies to improve/expand community outreach efforts. 
     

  • Anticipate market trends through competitive research of relevant industries. Using market information, platform determination, benchmarking, and audience identification to translate consumer attitudes into a scalable marketing strategy.
     

  • Oversight for the creation and update of a brand identity, design process, and market campaign programs. This included print and digital collateral: style guides, graphics used for branding, marketing collateral, and social posting, business cards, letterhead, case studies, email templates, newsletters.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
 

  • Strengthening public visibility on social media platforms through account optimization and the sharing of thought-provoking content. Increasing engagement and promote a companies image in a variety of social media outlets including; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Google and More  
     

  • UX/ UI Design and CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) by crafting content that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action. Increase a companies rankings per the industry standard with the set up of best practices for brand awareness and impressions with the use of keyword optimization, SEO, web traffic metrics, social media KPIs and analytics.
     

  • Collaborate with teams, departments or other key players (PR firms, web developers, marketing managers, and other vendors) on coordinating actions to execute marketing materials, reputation management, enhance public visibility and more.

TECHNICAL

  • Managed digital platforms from strategy to execution like email marketing program, editorial calendars and syndication schedules, dashboards webinars, video marketing and support for client-hosted private events as well as automation and scheduling tools like Google Analytics, Google Adwords, HootSuite, and HubSpot.
     

  • Implementation, Deployment, and support of technology and marketing tools like storage, file structures, project management, customer relationship management, expense reporting systems, and VOIP phone systems.
     

  • Familiarity with website related design and publishing software such as domains, hosting, wireframing, site maps, Wiki builds, Drupal, Wordpress, Wix, Esty, Square.

Creating a strategic go-to-market plan that drives public relations and social campaigns, while also developing a cohesive brand that aligns with the company's overall objectives. Project Management, oversight, and analysis of marketing materials and successful promotion of a brand image that increased engagement through social media data and interactions and traffic to companies website by more than 30%.

VOLUNTEER WORK WITH FLAT TRACK ROLLER DERBY

 

I strongly believe in making time to give back. During my time officiating roller derby I have had the opportunity to travel, work with officials across the world and explore many types of philanthropic activities. Over my time officiating roller derby I participated in over 400 games, officiated at 45 multiday tournaments, some of which I was in a leadership position as the head official and taught other officials at 15+ event clinics. I’ve outlined below the organizations I have supported, along with my role in each. Course: Girls In Tech: Global Classroom Maker Course in TinkerCad

Project Description: a 3D course on concept design thinking. Working through the process of creating an advocacy token for a cause that one believes in. This token allowed me to explore concepts in design-related thinking and create a physical reminder for a cause I believe in. With the hopeful results to raise awareness in the community. The cause I chose was Invisible Illness Awareness in the Workplace.

Project: An Ongoing Project of Sharing Some Goodness with the World


Project Description: Across the world, there is a movement of street artists creating and leaving original pieces of work in public places for individuals to find and sometimes even keep. Like notes in a kids lunch box, unexpected acts of kindness never go unnoticed. This project documents temporary street artworks while also finding new innovative ways of giving back with the intention of sparking joy in the world.
